Mole Removal with ELLMAN Radio Frequency

What is ELLMAN Radio Frequency Surgery And How Does it Work?

Radio Wave technology uses high-frequency energy to make cosmetic-enhancing incisions.  Healing is rapid and discomfort minimal with virtually little or no blood, bruising or swelling.  Suturing is rarely needed.  The electrodes on the high frequency radio wave laser become hot and cauterize the tissue.  The high frequency radio wave laser then transmits radio waves to the tissue and the absorption radio waves “cuts” the tissue with minimal alteration to the surrounding cells.
Cosmetic radio wave surgery patients heal quickly and start enjoying results immediately.

Who is the best Candidate?

Radio wave technology is for patients with moles, raised lesion, skin tags, warts, and skin surface irregularities.

How does the Procedure Work?

The mole or skin lesion is shaved off, and the wound is automatically “sealed” and does not bleed or need stitches.  Occasionally there is a risk of cancer; therefore we provide and option to send the lesion to a pathology laboratory for microscopic examination.

How Many Treatments Will I Need?

Only one visit is necessary for most procedures.  Each procedure usually lasts less tan 15 minutes.

What Type of Post Treatment Care is Necesary?

The treated area can be covered by a protective dressing however, it may be left uncovered.  Over the week the area heals by forming a light brown scab which will fall off to reveal pink new skin.  Do not pick or scratch the area while it’s healing.  The area will continue to mature over the next months eventually fading to match the color of the skin.  This minimally-invasive procedure enhances healing and produces very good results.

Are The Results Permanent?

Results are permanent.  However, occasionally an individual over time can experience another similar skin irregularity.  At which point, you may be treated again if necessary.
