What can I expect after the Treatment?
Depending upon the setting of the MediDerm Laser and your specific skin type you may experience a mild stinging sensation can be relieved with a cold compress. Some areas may appear more red than others, this will diminish during the regeneration period as your face peels, and can be easily covered with make-up. Moisturizers and creams should not be used for the first several hours unless approved by your physician.
In 2-7 days after the treatment you will experience a controlled, uniform face peel treatment. During this time period, the appearance of exfoliating skin can be minimized or eliminated by use of moisturizer or make up. Your physician might recommend other exfoliation treatment during this time period, like Microdermabrasion.
How long does the MEDIDERM Laser Treatment Effect Last?
The effect of each treatment can last for months, but is not permanents.
HOw often can I have a Treatment?
Results are not permanent, and patients can repeat the treatment in 8-12 weeks. Some patients will elect 3 or 4 visits a year for maintenance. Consult your physician for follow-up treatments.
