About Us

The Vein and Laser Clinic was founded by Michael Clemens, M.D. in 1994 as the Vein Clinic of Richmond in Richmond, Virginia.

His excitement about the extraordinary results from non-surgical proceduces for Tatto, hair, age or sun spot, removal, for the removal of varicose and spider veins drew interested patients to his practice.

Residing in the Northern Virginia area, Dr. Clemens opened up a practice in Fairfax. Slowly his practice grew as happy patients began to refer friends and relatives to him.

In addition to being experienced in all areas of the vein removal, the Vein and Laser Clinic has become known for being one of the first practices in Virginia to introduce laser hair removal, using FDA approved equipment for permanent hair removal.

As the practice in Northern Virginia began to florish in all aspects because of his notoriety and consistent referral base, it became apparent the practice would have to expand. Dr. Clemens and his staff moved to the Tysons Corner area where the Vein and Laser Clinic is located.
